Med School: More doctors are need to take care of an aging population. People wait weeks to see a doctor. Yet, med schools create more and more arbitrary hoops to jump through to become a doctor - pushing away thousands and thousands of very bright people from helping others all in the name of protecting their career.

Law School: Half of all law grads never find jobs. Law schools lower standards more and more while raising tuition to where they are pumping out "lawyers" who have literally average reading comprehension ability and $300,000 in debt.

don't worry, LSAC will just do what the College Board did when SAT scores started declining - make the exam easier and/or artificially inflate the scores ... which is why I LOL @ all your millennials bragging about how you could have gotten into HYP with your 1450 SAT in 1990. Different time, different test, no prep industry.

it will all be lawyer shrews battling each other

no way.

women are equally capable as men in the legal field, i'll even say superior in some important ways, but

women are not as cut out for the long hours, stress, and general bullshit of the profession. that, more than capability, is why women are underrepresented in the profession.

my experience is that women are more focused on "making hours" and hitting billable targets, which makes them perfect as biglaw associates/cannon fodder.

biglaw is increasingly a group of hyperactive type A female associates working themselves to the bone while male boomer equity partners laugh all the way to the bank.
